Description
Lesson 15 · Subjuntivo Pluscuamperfecto · The Yesterday Wand 🪄⏪
One tense. One verb. One apple.
The Subjuntivo Pluscuamperfecto is the last stop on the time journey. Instead of memorising tables, you learn it with a picture: the Yesterday Wand 🪄⏪. With it you would love to change yesterday – “If I had eaten …” Everything revolves around one verb (comer) and one object (una manzana). That is very little – and that is exactly why it sticks.
- que yo hubiera comido
- que tú hubieras comido
- que él hubiera comido
- que nosotros hubiéramos comido
- que vosotros hubierais comido
- que ellas hubieran comido

Good to know
This is a lesson, not a complete textbook: it covers only the Subjuntivo Pluscuamperfecto with the verb “comer”, with no irregular verbs. “él” stands for él, ella and usted, “ellas” for ellos, ellas and ustedes – the verb form is the same in each case.
